SOYUZ-FG ROCKET WITH SOYUZ MS-06 SPACESHIP SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED FROM BAIKONUR

On 13 September 2017 at 00:17:02 Moscow time, Soyuz-FG launcher with Soyuz MS-06 manned spaceship successfully lifted off from the Gagarin’s launch pad, Baikonur.

The Soyuz MS carried onboard the primary crew to complement the ISS-53/54 expedition: Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Misurkin, NASA astronauts Mark Vande Hei and Joseph Acaba.

The back-up crew members were Roscosmos cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, NASA astronaut Scott Tingle and Shannon Walker.

Glavkosmos is a NASA’s subcontractor to support their activities at the Baikonur Cosmodrome during the launch campaigns.
