Glavkosmos organized the launch of small satellites from the Vostochny Cosmodrome

VOSTOCHNY, July 25. - The Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle with the Fregat upper stage was launched  from the Vostochny Cosmodrome on Friday, at 08:54 Moscow time, and successfully injected the Ionosfera-M No. 3 and No. 4 satellites into orbit as the main payload, along with 18 small satellites as the secondary payload. All the satellites have been injected into their target orbits.

CubeSats were launched from specialized launch containers. Another small spacecraft was separated directly from the Fregat upper stage and placed into the required orbit.

Glavkosmos was a launch service provider for the secondary payload. Moreover, the company managed the general organization and coordination of the activities of the Russian space industry enterprises as well as those of the small satellites’ manufacturers and customers at all stages of the secondary payload preparation for the launch.
