Glavkosmos participates in the APACE 2026 International Exhibition
KUCHING (MALAYSIA), January 27. — Glavkosmos JSC (part of Roscosmos) is participating in the Asia Pacific Aerospace Conference and Exhibition (APACE) 2026 as a co-exhibitor alongside the Roscosmos State Space Corporation.
APACE 2026 is held from January 27 to January 29 in Kuching, the capital of Sarawak State, Malaysia. It positions itself as the premier aerospace event in the region, bringing together over a thousand industry specialists and leaders from more than fifty countries. The event is organized by the Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development of Sarawak, in partnership with Borneo Business Connect Sdn. Bhd. The stated goal of APACE is to establish Sarawak as the aerospace hub of Borneo and to position it as a prominent player in the Asia-Pacific aerospace industry.
As part of the exhibition, Glavkosmos JSC will showcase the products of Roscosmos enterprises and its own services through interactive displays. The LET'S GO TO SPACE touchpad will enable visitors to explore Russian spaceports and launch vehicles used for providing launch services. Additionally, the interactive touchpad features various Russian satellite platforms currently available to customers and provides information about Russia’s orbital remote sensing constellation. Visitors will also have the opportunity to view a three-dimensional model of the International Space Station and its Russian segment.
Another interactive exhibit is the virtual CubeSat small satellite builder. Visitors and potential customers can independently assemble a virtual spacecraft in formats ranging from 1U to 12U.
Glavkosmos also offers visitors mobile applications that utilize augmented reality (AR) technology. One application enables users to trace the stages of a crewed spaceflight, from the launch of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket from Baikonur Cosmodrome to the docking of the Soyuz-MS spacecraft with the ISS, and ultimately, the return of the descent module to Earth. Another application demonstrates the operation of the Fregat upper stage in orbit.
Another showpiece on display that traditionally attracts the attention of guests and visitors at exhibition events is the Sokol-KV-2 space suit, which cosmonauts wear during the spacecraft’s launch, landing, docking, and undocking phases of the flight.
As part of the APACE-2026 events, the Glavkosmos delegation intends to hold several business meetings and negotiations with potential customers, local business representatives, and political figures to discuss prospects and opportunities for further cooperation.
